Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PINC application ("App" or "Service") provided by PINC's developer ("we"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

PINC is a crowdsourced platform for measuring and sharing Wi-Fi speeds at cafés and similar venues. Measurement data and amenity information submitted by users is shared anonymously with the community. No account registration is required.

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, please do not use the Service. If we become aware that a user under 13 has used the Service, we will delete associated data promptly.

You agree to:

• Use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not intentionally submit false or inaccurate measurement data
• Not attempt unauthorized access to the Service's systems
• Not interfere with other users' use of the Service
• Not decompile or reverse-engineer the App
• Not use automated tools or bots to bulk-collect data from the Service

The ability to share Wi-Fi credentials (SSID and password) is entirely optional. By using this feature, you confirm that:

• You own the Wi-Fi network or have permission from the owner to share it
• You will not share others' Wi-Fi without authorization
• Shared credentials may be used by other community members
• The credentials you share are accurate

PINC accepts no liability for the accuracy, legality, or any third-party rights implications of shared credentials. All responsibility for sharing lies with the user.

Measurement data, amenity information, and other content you submit ("User Content") is shared anonymously with the community for the purpose of operating the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it for this purpose.

We reserve the right to remove User Content that is false, inaccurate, or unlawful, without prior notice.

From the Settings screen you can at any time:

• Delete saved Wi-Fi connections
• Delete your private Wi-Fi block list

To delete speed data stored on our servers, please contact us via the Feedback field in Settings.

Wi-Fi speed data provided by the Service is based on user measurements and is for reference only. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to reliance on Wi-Fi speed data, credential disclosure, or service interruption.

We may modify, add, or remove features, or suspend or discontinue the Service temporarily or permanently, without prior notice. We are not liable for any resulting damages.

We may update these Terms as needed. For material changes, we will notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
